Sehr positivKann bisher nur gutes sagen, wobei ich anmerken muss, dass ich die Lizenz bei weitem nicht voll ausnutze.
Ich habe eine Raspberr Pi 1 b + mit dem Rasyberry Pi Touch Display in Verwendung. Dabei war es mir nur wichtig Radio + Spotify hören zu können. Was sehr gut klappt.
Die Einstellmöglichkeiten sind wirklich lobenswert. Eine riesige Auswahlmöglichkeiten von Einstellungen wobei diese aber auch für Anfänger gerichtet sind, in dem alles gut beschrieben ist. 10 € im Jahr finde ich mehr als fair.Veröffentlicht am

Thank you!I am just coming into the world of streaming from CDs and analog stereo. Max2Play is what I am looking for.
Since I am a newbie, I purchased a premium license in order to receive support.. My concerns materialized when my Raspberry Pi Zero W and HifiBerry DAC+ Zero evidenced a bug with Spotify Connect. Happily, the folks at Max2Play were responsive and helpful. And that is how a product should be evaluated - when a glitch happens (and glitches always happen!) do the people stand behind the product.

Excellent value.Very simple turnkey solution for setting up either a Squeeze box server or client.
Very decent video walkthrough to set up your device. Decent, but not excellent. Step by step howtos with examples would net you a 5 instead of the 4 stars I gave. Even at that, not regretting the purchase, and very happy to kick in the very reasonable licensing fee to encourage the project and fund support.Veröffentlicht am

Geniale SoftwareSetze Max2Play mit dem Squeezebox Server und insgesamt 6 Squeezeboxen ein. Einfach nur genial. Image auf SD spielen. Einrichten. Läuft. Nur empfehlenswert. Super, dass Spotify und Airplay möglich ist. Was will man mehr?

Einfache installation, preis/leistung topMit hilfe der max2play software konnte einfach ein multiroomsystem erstellt werden. Verwendet habe ich den hifiberry amp2, welcher auch unterstütz wird. Mit rasp2+ entstand ein super audionetzwerk. Das brennen der software auf die sd karte müsste nicht unbedingt sein.
Die software habe ich bereits weiter empfohlen.

Excellent product, easy to use, constantly improvedI first used it standalone to use LMS, then I tried to integrate it with ELAN home systems but had a few issues, I reported the problem and it had disapeared when I tested again a few months after. There is still and small problem with the first icon on lists of services, songs, playlists, etc.; but it minor and can be ignored until it is fixed. The primium license allowed me to use an USB DAC which improved substantially the sound. I got very good imaging and presence when playing music with budget speakers in a near field arrangement. keep the goog work.

HifiBerry DIGI fills the gap of the SqueezeboxFinally got the board and, together with the license, it performs better than any of my existing original Squeezeboxes (1 classic, 1 touch). Using the opto Toslink eliminates any risk for groundloop and it simply made my day.
I'll continue adding more HifiBerries to my net and can't wait hearing how the Amp version performs. One planned for my new sauna and another for the kitchen diner.Veröffentlicht am
