Still finding new features!Really liking this software, and finding new features all of the time! Just found the 'Airplay' service, which has opened up a new world of possibilities for me.
I would love to buy a proper case for my Pi & HiFiBerry, but your postage prices are the same price as the case itself!
Heiner from Max2Play Reply:

The other shipping prices are taken directly from DHL. We only offer DHL premium shipping to foreign countries to ensure quality and timely delivery.Posted on

Multiroom playersGreat way to play all your music in sync in all rooms and outdoor, realy lovr the simple way it works.
And not dor the least, control it with your domotica with scenes and time options.
A very cheap way to use your own soundsystem like a Sonos way.

Old Squeezeboxes revivedAt home various Squeezebox players played their music via the Logitech Media Server app installed on an old NAS. Unfortunately the Spottify plugin didn't work anymore (removed by Spotify) and my attempts to get this fixed failed. In my desk drawer I had a Raspberry Pi 3 laying around for being used as an alternate LMS player. For making that work, Internet gave me a mixed bag of unsatisfying solutions and I was about to purchase a complete new multiroom audio system. Untill I discovered M2P :-). Installing the M2P imagage was very easy and the additional Premium licence for Spotty Connect gave me back the music experience I had been missing. All SB players run very stable with great responsiveness. A vast improvement. All I can say is THANK YOU M2P! You've done a great job!

Perfect multiroom systemI use Max2Play to run my Squeezebox-based multi-room system, and it has been running without a hitch for over a year. I bought the Raspberry Pi with HiFi Berry DAC, which runs both the server and an additional player, and I'm very happy with this new addition to the family. I now have the music streaming in three separate rooms without ever skipping a beat. Additional bonus: the Raspberry acts as an Airplay player.
One feature I would love: a way to stream the output of a CD or record player to the entire network.Posted on

At last soft that works smoothly as Media CenterI've tried many since few years, but only M2P works without any support from my side, after I set it up some weeks ago. Good work! Only I needed to do manually was to install download manager - it would be great if Aria2 with GUI would be available as M2P Plugin.

Thank you!I am just coming into the world of streaming from CDs and analog stereo. Max2Play is what I am looking for.
Since I am a newbie, I purchased a premium license in order to receive support.. My concerns materialized when my Raspberry Pi Zero W and HifiBerry DAC+ Zero evidenced a bug with Spotify Connect. Happily, the folks at Max2Play were responsive and helpful. And that is how a product should be evaluated - when a glitch happens (and glitches always happen!) do the people stand behind the product.
Nice product and responsive support.Posted on

Excellent value.Very simple turnkey solution for setting up either a Squeeze box server or client.
Very decent video walkthrough to set up your device. Decent, but not excellent. Step by step howtos with examples would net you a 5 instead of the 4 stars I gave. Even at that, not regretting the purchase, and very happy to kick in the very reasonable licensing fee to encourage the project and fund support.Posted on
