Max2play to stayI am a new user of max2play , but very satisfied ,
The first startup was a bit confusing , because i didn't read the manual !
wireless set up by means of choosing a new network , and than start your browser with http://max2play did the trick. very smooth setup of the squeezebox server.
again the setup for the network share was (i not a linux guy) new. But al you need to know is on the browser page!.
very good !Posted on

very niceusing with RPI3 + HiFiberry Dac + 100% ok
as wrote in allo forum (but they do not hear me with a beautiful product!!!) the volume is at less 50% low than HiFiberry (100% setting on both), post not approuved in their forum
is my DAC ...not sure, a Krell KAV300i + Magnepan 1.6 connected to two RPI ans switching the volume level is an issue. Max2play ....simpli perfect for my use.
Just one thing. DSD setting plugins not explained, you need better doc, on forum ok but wasted time to get the infoPosted on

Excellent product, easy to use, constantly improvedI first used it standalone to use LMS, then I tried to integrate it with ELAN home systems but had a few issues, I reported the problem and it had disapeared when I tested again a few months after. There is still and small problem with the first icon on lists of services, songs, playlists, etc.; but it minor and can be ignored until it is fixed. The primium license allowed me to use an USB DAC which improved substantially the sound. I got very good imaging and presence when playing music with budget speakers in a near field arrangement. keep the goog work.

HifiBerry DIGI fills the gap of the SqueezeboxFinally got the board and, together with the license, it performs better than any of my existing original Squeezeboxes (1 classic, 1 touch). Using the opto Toslink eliminates any risk for groundloop and it simply made my day.
I'll continue adding more HifiBerries to my net and can't wait hearing how the Amp version performs. One planned for my new sauna and another for the kitchen diner.Posted on

really good product, needs more support to sound card / dacI installed Max2Play with a suptronics X400 device mounted on one raspberry 3. It works pretty well. I would never have buyed every piece to my DIY multiroom just by looking at Max2play device compatibility list. Hopefully, I read some reviews over the web, and even youtube, commented by one max2play community manager, dealing with such installation. So, max2play should definitively add support for suptronics X400 card. It's cheap and works fairly well.
